DG Newmedia has recognised the need for an affordable, yet effective solution, which provides our customers with a valuable Web Content Management System.
This led us to develop our own CMS solution; Content Mechanic, enabling fast and frequent web site changes without the need for any in-depth knowledge of HTML or other web-related languages. Ultilising PHP and MySQL enables it to be run on shared hosting, removing the inherent costs of a dedicated server required by most CMS systems.
Simple to use
Unlike many content management systems, Content Mechanic has been designed not only to aid the design of completely new sites, but also to incorporate the design and layout of existing websites. This provides customers with a simple solution enabling non technical users to update their site without compromising their existing design.
User friendly interface
Content Mechanic utilises it's own unique 'explorer' style intuitive interface. The use of customer specific templates maintain the 'look and feel' of the site. The completion of simple form fields allows the administrator to populate the site with content, without fear of accidental changes to surrounding layout or format. Individually defined passwords can be used to manage user access to specified areas of the site.
